He is survived by: his children, David J. Montemage, Gabrielle Gifford (Ryan) and Erica Montemage; his grandchildren, Amelia G. Montemage and Chase A. Gifford; his sisters, Deborah Brennan, Laura Kessler (Chris) and Michele Rzepa; and also Michelle S. Montemage (Gutlovics). He is also survived by many nieces, other relatives, and close friends.
