He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Pitifer, (Galusha) and Daniel Pitifer, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Pitifer (Remas) of Florida; his brother Richard "Dick" Pitifer (Julie) of Geneva; and his nieces and nephews, Danelle Telarico (Chad), Richard Pitifer and Nicole Giardino (Matthew). He is also survived by family and friends.
