He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Brown and Blanche Brown (Jock); his son Jeffrey Brown; and his siblings, Bernard, Loren Brown, Irene Hanke and Shirley Daggett.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Wilkins Brown; his son Dann L.; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Brown of Quincy, MA; his daughter Margaret A.; his son-in-law Roland Humphrey of Lowman, NY; his son D. Matthew Brown of Candler, NC; and his grandchildren, Sarah Arceneaux, Kayla Humphrey, Zachary Humphrey, Zelda Brown and Vivienne Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
