He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, James F. Cavanaugh Jr. and Charles J. McCabe. He is survived by: his parents, Susan A. Cavanaugh McCabe (Ned Alaskey) and Mark S. McCabe Sr. (Helen); his friend Mark S. McCabe Jr.; his sibling Ryan M. McCabe (Olivia Guillaume); his niece Shannon Lynn McCabe; and his grandparents, Marilyn A. Cavanaugh and Elaine McCabe. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
