She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Simmons and Lena E. Simmons (Nagele); and her siblings, Carl Simmons, Priscilla Burns, Emil Simmons, Dorothy Davis, Gloria Dyson and Donald Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Jill M. Simmons, Michael Stoutenburg (Carolyn) and Sherry Whittaker (Frank); her siblings, Marion Smith, Shirley Ebel and James Simmons; her grandchildren, Alisha Stoutenburg, Tanner Stoutenburg and Gabrianna Zanos; her great grandchildren, Kendel Stoutenburg and Amante Banks; her niece Linda Davis; and her great grandchildren, Leila and Aubrey Stoutenburg. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and a canine companion.
Face coverings must be worn and social distancing may limit capacity in the funeral home.
