He is survived by: his brother Tommy; his wife Esta K. Schroer; his children, Kim Kuperschmid (Peter) and Todd O'Connell (Linda); his grandchildren, Caitlyn O'Connell, Melody Kuperschmid, Justin Kuperschmid and Amber O'Connell; his sisters-in-law, Maureen O'Connell of Pawleys Island, S. C., Jan Ullrich of Westport, CT. and Gail Ullrich; his nephews, Col. T. J. O'Connell (Katherine), Dan O'Connell (Lizabeth), Matthew Ullrich (Taylor) and Joseph Pepin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey, Patrick, Caden, Jack, April, Christopher and Baby Aria.
