It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew L Thomas (Floral Park, New York), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roderick P. Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth L. Thomas (De Ieso); his siblings, Elizabeth, Veronica, Kathleen, Andrew, Peter, Patricia, Eileen and Margaret; his sons, Matthew, Andrew, Nicholas and Joseph; his stepchildren, Zahide, Angel and Eric; his significant other Nersa Kercado; his pet Cici; his grandchildren, Emma, James and Oliver; his stepgranddaughter Marissa; and his former wife Vera. He is also survived by his siblings, along with many beloved relatives, friends.
