He is survived by: his girlfriend Elaine Schneider; his son Martin Friedman (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Todd Phelan (Nellie) and Kimberly Seymour (Greg); and his great grandchildren, Henry Phelan, Evelyn and Bennett Seymour.
