He was predeceased by: his father Pedro Chinchilla. He is survived by: his wife Luz Chinchilla (Suarez); his mother Elena Chinchilla (Corredor); his siblings, Pedro Chinchilla and Gloria Suarez (Orlando Suarez); and his aunt Lucila Suarez. He is also survived by his cousins and many nieces, nephews.
