He was predeceased by: his father Stanley Levandowski; and his pets, Cocoa and Penny. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Amy Montes (Jose) of Marlboro, NY and Holly Herring (Joseph) of New Paltz, NY.; his grandchildren, Joshua, Camille, Joey and Melanie; his sisters, Monica Edelstein (Russell) of Maryland, Cynthia Hines (Jimmy) of Maryland and Mary Smith (Alex) of Maryland; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Because he was a lifelong supporter of animal causes and an ardent dog lover, Stan would have been so pleased if, in lieu of flowers, donations are made in his memory to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538 (http://www.dcspca.org).
