He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Edward and Angelina Fiorio (Varesi); his wife Mary Joan (McCann); his children, Deacon James Fiorio (Mary Beth) of Poughkeepsie, Brian Fiorio of New Windsor, Ralph Fiorio (Karen) of Highland, Marianne Braccini, Regina Neff (Bill) of Milford, DE, Dan Fiorio (Maggie) of Lewes, DE and Eileen Greene (Doug) of Bethel, CT; his grandchildren, Marc Fiorio (Catina Leon), Allison Chimera (Frank), Rob Fiorio, Patricia Williams, Mark Harris, Kristen Neff, Daniel Fiorio Jr., Paul Neff, Justin Greene, Dana Fiorio and Megan Greene; and his great grandchildren, Ronan Chimera, Jake Williams, Brynn Fiorio, Lila Williams, Cora Chimera, Caroline Bea Harris and Audrey Elle Harris.
