He is survived by: his wife Lucille Nicholas; his children, Michael Nicholas (Marie) of Cookstown, NJ, Joseph Nicholas of Wappingers Falls, NY, Richard Nicholas, Jr. (Kimberly) of Houston, DE, Peter Nicholas (MaryAnn) of Greenfield Center, NY, Christine Nicholas (Martin Scheiber) of Wappingers Falls and Patricia Atkinson (Trent) of Wappingers Falls; his grandchildren, Michael Nicholas II, Benjamin Nicholas (Pam Perwien), Nicole Chavez (Cesar), Joshua Nicholas (Heather), Heather Nicholas (Daniel), Amy Nicholas, Harper Atkinson, Marylin Dooley, Hudson Atkinson and Helena Dooley; and his great grandchildren, Alessandro Chavez, Sebastian Chavez, Jacqueleen Chavez, Salvador Chavez and Brexton King. He is also survived by other loving relatives & friends.
