She is survived by: her sister Medley-White (Proverbs); her husband Frank White; her siblings, Hattie Mae, Arthur Jr., Lewis and Willie James Swain; her children, Renae Medley Powell of Orlando, Florida, Robin Medley of Bel Air, Maryland and Richard Medley Jr. (Lauren) of Bel Air, Maryland; her grandchildren, Jenae, Jordan Powell, Jillian and Adriana Medley; and her siblings, Elaine Cage of Atlanta, GA, Mary E. Morrow (Edward, Sr.) of Atlanta, GA, Ann Wright (Larry, Sr.) of Knoxville, TN, Catherine Swain of Thomasville, GA and Freddie Swain, Sr. (Phecifinese) of Albany, GA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
After 25+ years at IBM (retired), she went on to coordinate and manage a grant funded program for four and a half years at American Cancer Society.
