He was predeceased by: his mother Alice McCaffrey Klarl. He is survived by: his father John Klarl; his wife Joanne Sim Klarl; his children, John Klarl, Joseph Klarl and Jessica Klarl (Edward Bocknik II); his grandchildren, Teddy and Natalie Bocknik; his siblings, Alice MacLennan, Margaret Klarl, Brian Klarl and Patricia Klarl; his brother-in-law Donald MacLennan; and his pet Caroline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
