He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Apicella and Carmela Apicella (Capone); his wife Lucia T. Marra; and his brother Alfonse "Funzie" Apicella. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Pettinati (Ronald) of East Fishkill, Christine Brody (James) of Putnam Valley, Stephanie Pipola (Louis) of East Fishkill and Jack V. Apicella (Elizabeth) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Justin Pettinati, Giana-Jolie Pipola, Jack Apicella, Joseph Apicella and Matthew Apicella; and his sister-in-law Christine Favale. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives & friends.
