We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2022, at the age of 82, Finn Halfdan Nilsen Jr. of Fishkill, New York, born in Bergen, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Finn and Erna Nilsen (Aase); his sisters, Sonja Horend and Ruthie Nechamkin; and his friends, Bill Weber and Richie Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Nilsen (Julia) of Wappingers Falls, Kristen Wakley (T. J.) of Milton and Jennifer Mergl (William) of New Paltz; and his grandchildren, Timothy Nilsen Jr., Anna Nilsen, Thomas Wakley Jr., Emma Wakley, Finn Wakley, Will Mergl, Elizabeth Mergl, Evelyn Mergl and Madelyn Mergl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives & friends.
