He is survived by: his children, Tracy Taft of Poughkeepsie, Kim Verzi of Beacon and Diana Reynolds; his grandchildren, Lindsey Taft, Robert Taft Jr, Ian Taft, James Verzi and Joseph Verzi; and his son-in-law Robert Taft of LaGrange. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
