She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Johnson and Viola Johnson (Smith); and her husband Donald E. Filkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Rifenburg, Anne Degli-Angeli, Miriam Tully and Janet Reynolds; and her sister Patty Weissman. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
