He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Giacomo and Antonina Di Giacomo (Oliveiro); his wife Catherine Di Giacomo (Dowling); his daughter Donna Briggs; and his siblings, Cira Rose Di Giacomo and Desiderio "Buddy" DiSisto.

He is survived by: his children, Cristina DiGiacomo of Forest Hills, NY and Richard DiGiacomo of Massachusetts; his stepdaughter Donna Sciamatore of Wappingers Falls, NY; his grandchildren, Melinda Edwards (Jason) of Maine, Rachel DiGiacomo of Massachusetts, Grace DiGiacomo of Massachusetts, Travis Jordan Briggs of New Hampshire, Brett Sciamatore (Jhoselyn) of Florida, Collin Sciamatore and Aiden Sciamatore of Wappingers Falls, NY; and his sister-in-law Cruz DiSisto of New York. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
