He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Townsend and Elizabeth Townsend (Roberts); and his son James Townsend. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Townsend (Marcia) of Lehigh Acres, FL, John Townsend (Kathy) of Palm Coast, FL and Richard Townsend of Highland; his grandsons, John Townsend, Brian Townsend and Scott Townsend; his great grandchildren, Fiona Townsend and Floyd Townsend; his brother Wilson Townsend; his nieces, Virginia Townsend and Cathy Townsend; and his nephew Edward Townsend. He is also survived by many other relatives & friends.
