With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie C. Montgomery (Fishkill, New York), born in Mahopac, New York, who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Castegner and Marian Castegner (Secord); her husband Allan D. Montgomery; her brother Robert Wolfinger; and her grandson David Allan Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Hughes of Hopewell Junction and Christine Steele of Highland; her grandchildren, Daniel Hughes, Lauryn Grantham (Ray), Victoria Steele and Perry Steele, Jr. (Robin); her great grandchildren, Quinn Grantham, Reese Grantham and Perry Steele III; and her siblings, George (Faith Castegner), Judy (Michael Chiarella), Victoria (William Wickham) and Mary Jane (Doug MacCrae). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Bettie's memory to the American Cancer Society.
