He was predeceased by: his parents, Giacomo Sorci (Jack) and Josephine Cuchelo Sorci; his significant other Lorena Moore; his son Wesley Douglas Sorci; and his siblings, Salvatore, Paul, James, John and Mary Sorci.
He is survived by: his former spouse L. Vivian Van Tassell; his son Richard Earl Sorci (Mary) of Fishkill; his grandson David Sorci (Rickie); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Nicholas of Fishkill and Richard; his daughter Joanne Vivian Fitzgerald (Thomas) of Beacon; his nephew Tompkins of Wallkill, N. Y.; and also Rebecca Tesan (Anthony) of Wappingers Falls. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces.
