He was predeceased by: his parents, Amerigo John and Caroline Caputo (Costanzo); his sister Suzanne Rao; and his siblings-in-law, Genie Caputo, Ralph Martucci and Dominick Rao.

He is survived by: his wife Carmela Amendola; his children, Joseph Pappagallo of Florida, Anthony Caputo of Louisiana and Deanna Caputo (Brandon Blackburn) of Wappingers Falls; his granddaughter Ayla; his siblings, Vinny Caputo (Aida), Ralphie Caputo (Vivian), Johnny Caputo, Carolanne Aquino (Johnny), Maryanne Martucci, Linda Ekbom (Tommy), Regina Servedio (Anthony), Florence Caputo, Lorraine Corrie (Fred), Annette Mastrogianni (Danny), Richie Caputo (Angie) and Tina Morreale (Pete); and his sister-in-law Deborah DiMeglio (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and other relatives & friends.
