He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shene and Florence Shene (LaDuke); his wife Monica Shene; and his siblings, Lawrence Shene, Mary Hubbard, Doris Seaman, Lucy Hall, Jenny Shene, Jack Shene, Harry Robert Shene and Susan Masseau.
He is survived by: his children, Valery Terry (Harold), Carol Handley (Linda), Pamela Cooper, Richard Shene, Charles Shene and Andrew Shene (Jayna). He is also survived by sisters, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
