She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Powers and Leola Balcom Powers; her husband Melvin "Mel" G. Bennett; and her sisters, Gertrude Heyer, Helen Powers and Frances Miller.
She is survived by: her grandson Steve; her children, Susan Evancho Moody (Wilkie) of Hope Mills, NC, Cheryl Evancho Mayer (David) of Pike and Christopher Bennett (Barbara) of Penfield; and her sister Pauline Powers of Hume. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and even a few great-great nieces and nephews.
