He is survived by: his wife Judith Scanlon; his children, Andrew VanOstrand of Fillmore, Cynthia Blair of Chili, James VanOstrand of Waterloo and Anne Matela (Tony) of Spencerport; his grandchildren, Jesse, Heather, Jennie and Anthony; his cousin Herbert Judson; and his niece Beth Anne.
