He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gilchrist and Donna Fletcher Gilchrist Sr.; and his son Robert L. Gilchrist Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Taylor; his children, Nicolas Gilchrist (Tara McVay), Virginia and Stacy Keller (Nick) of Pennsylvania; his granddaughters, Alexis Thayer and Brianna Keller; and his siblings, William Gilchrist Jr. of Rochester, Bonnie Gilchrist of Rochester and Bruce Gilchrist of Rochester.
