He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardie Wendland and Edna Wills Wendland; his wife Ruth E. Steadman; and his sister Shirley Cockle. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Wendland (Barbara) of Fillmore and Brenda Wendland of Dade City. He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two nephews.
