It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Sullivan Jr. (Fillmore, New York), who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Sullivan, and Ethel Hillman Sullivan, Sr.; his wife Diane Thomas of Patrick's Church; his children, Penny Schuld, Dawn Kain (Scott), Mark Sullivan (Amy) and Sandy Miller; his grandchildren, Dustin Schuld (Brittney), Ryan Doty, Emily Rohan (Mat), Dana Schuld, Brett Miller, Michael Kain, Emma Sullivan, Max Miller and Abby Sullivan; and his great grandchildren, Owen Doty, Ella Schuld, Nora Schuld, Kamden Kain and Caden Schuld.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kopler - Williams Funeral Home (21 N Genesee St, Fillmore, NY 14735). A rosary was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patricks Church (3 Merton Ave, Belfast, NY 14711). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Oramel Cemetery (8304 NY-19, Belfast, NY 14711).
