He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gayhart and Helen Deiter Gayhart; and his brother Sherwood Gayhart. He is survived by: his children, Jamison Gayhart of Perry, Richard Gayhart, Jr. of Perry and Von Carlin of DuBois, PA; and his siblings, Kathy Paul (Wayne) of Silver Springs, Keith Gayhart of Fillmore, Elwin Gayhart, Raymond Gayhart, Willard Gayhart, Phillip Gayhart and Donald Gayhart.
