He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pettit and Doris Keller Pettit; and his brothers, Willis Pettit and Alton Pettit. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Evans (Church); his grandchildren, Kodak, Yukon, Manhattan and Pat; his children, Dennis Pettit (Mary Anne) of Rochester, Randy Pettit (Laura) of Apopka, FL and Brenda Nolan (William) of Fillmore; his grandchildren, Kenden Pettit, Cameron Pettit (Elena), Kelsie Nolan Affleck (Thomas), Brett Pettit (Cristina), Dylan Pettit, Tanner Pettit and Abbey Pettit; his siblings, Linda Rusk, James Pettit (Kathleen) of Cuba, Robert Pettit (Mona) of Cuba and David Pettit (Ellyn) of Mallory; and his great grandchild Ford Pettit.
