She was predeceased by: her parents, Emra Preston and Olive Acquard Preston; her husband Edwin L. Bower; and her siblings, Helen Gallmann, Frank Preston, Doris "Dodie" Zorn, Robert Preston, Stella Smith and Dorthea Papke.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Beardsley (Steven) of Perry, James Timothy "Tim" Bower of Fillmore and Thomas E. Bower of Fillmore; and her brother Donald Preston of Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
