He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gruber and Caroline Colvin Gruber; and his siblings, Robert R. Gruber of Andover, Gloria Gruber and Doris Gruber.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Jones of Pavilion; his siblings, Henry Gruber, Jr., Mary Serusa of Mt. Morris and Joyce Garret of Mt. Morris; and his friend Jason Thayer (Laura) of Fillmore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
