He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis William Burns and Lillian Patricia Pilkington; his wife Patricia Donnelly; his children, Matthew Burns (Jane Axamethy), Abigail Burns-Paterson (William) and Douglas Burns; his grandchildren, Jacob Burns (Danielle), Breanne Burns, Cooper Burns, Colton Burns, Olivia Paterson and Madeline Paterson; and his great grandchild Brooke Burns.
