He is survived by: his husband Stephen DuBois; his parents, John L. Steinfeld and Judith Bristol (Michael See) of Ithaca, NY; his sister Catherine Monk (Patrick Murphy); his nephews, Tony Monk (Chantel Kohout) and Andy Monk; his great-nephew Castor Kohout-Monk; and his aunt Trudy Marchant.
