He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugenia Eischen Schmidt and Anthony Charles Schmidt; his wife Patricia Ruggiano Schmidt; his sons, Thomas Jr. (Nancy) and Anthony (Tiffani); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Gavin and Maxwell. He was also cherished by cousins and extraordinary sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
