It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah H. Short (Fayetteville, New York), born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sarah leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sarah may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Allen Short; and her children, Walter Short (Beverly), William Short and Sarah Short Hicks (Gary). She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sally's memory to the Fayetteville Fire and EMS, 425 E. Genesee St, Fayetteville, NY 13066 would be welcome.
