He is survived by: his children, Catherine Bergin (Timothy) of Manhattan Beach, CA, Ellen O'Connor (Patrick) of Fayetteville, NY, Carolyn Snakard of Norwalk, CT, Eileen Snakard of Washington, DC, Michael Snakard (Spencer) of Gainesville, VA, Kevin Snakard (Kristene) of Collegeville, PA and James Snakard (Elizabeth) of Parker, CO; his grandchildren, Leah Corachea, Connor, Hannah Bergin, Christopher, Patrick O'Connor, Robert, Gregory, Angela Snakard, Morgan, Alexandra Sossa, Alison, Olivia Snakard, Caydence Snakard, Jack, Wyatt and Luke Snakard; and his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Boyle and Jeanne Snakard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
