John Donohue Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Donohue (Fayetteville, New York), who passed away on September 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Donohue to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Donohue and Cornelia Donohue; his siblings, Cornelia Rettie and Ted Donohue; and his children, Brendan and Katy.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie F. Donohue; his children, Deborah Donohue, Carol Briggs (Rick) and Jay Donohue (Debra); his daughter-in-law Judy Donohue (Brendan); his grandchildren, RJ Briggs (Leia), Justin Esposito (Danielle), Joseph Schwonke, Caitlin Schwonke, Ryan Donohue, Grace Donohue, John Paul Donohue, Alex Donohue and Benjamin Donohue; and his nephew John.

Per John's request, a joyful celebration of his life will be held once COVID precautions have passed.

John later served on the Board of Trustees of his beloved alma mater, Utica College and as a Director of The Utica College Foundation.
