It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean E. Jackson Serling of Fayetteville, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Jackson (Copeland) and James R. Jackson; her husband Murray Serling; her brother James Jackson; her son-in-law David R. Lehrer; and her sister Dorothy Loomis.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Beth Serling Lehrer, Amy Hagan (Barney) and Steven Serling (Lisa); her sister Donna Spicer; her grandchildren, Sarah Clapp (Dan), Molly Forsyth (Rob), Peter Hagan (Karina), Tim Hagan (Alix) and Carrie Hagan; her stepgrandchildren, David S. Lehrer and Tammy Lehrer; and her great grandchildren, Larkyn, Hadley, Hannah Clapp, Brody, Nolan Forsyth, Jackson, Joshua, Carly Hagan, Connor, Teddy and Charlie Hagan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear lifelong friends.
