She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dutch Immigrants Margaret and Edward Piersma; her children, Karen Maandag-Ralph (Sieg Maandag) of Amsterdam, Chandler M. Ralph (David Aldrich) of Lake Placid, NY, John Ralph (Julie Ralph) of St Louis, MO. and Kristen P. Ralph of Syracuse, NY; her grandchildren, Christopher Ralph of Stuart, Kevin Ralph of Baltimore, MD, Sarah Maandag of Amsterdam and Simon Maandag of Amsterdam; her stepgranddaughter Kristin Aldrich of Saranac Lake, NY; her stepgreat-granddaughter Jada Meadows; and her great grandchildren, Arjuna and Danjil Landkroom.
