She was predeceased by: her husbands, Suart Bilyeu and Walter F. Murphy; her parents, Alonza Edwards and Fannie Poole; her siblings, Zeke Edwards, Linwood Edwards, Virginia Holland and Dorothy Lawrence; and her nephew Gregory Lawrence.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marie Edwards; and her nieces and nephews, Clyde Edwards (Gwen), Joseph Cox (Judy), Dean Edwards (Lori), Virginia Ann Edwards (Bikash Roy), Tracy Gorman (Dave), Caitlyn Edwards, Gwen Gorman and Zeke Gorman.
