He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peters and Irene Peters; his brothers, Charles and Alan Peters; his parents-in-law, Jennie and Michael Tony; and his siblings-in-law, Abraham, Joseph George, Mary Christenson and Phyllis George.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his son Paul (Rhonda); his granddaughters, Johnna Swartele (Lance) and Jennifer Meyers (Craig); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jackson Swartele, River and Fianola Meyers; and his sisters, Sandra Avery (Richard), Myrna Doyle (Richard) and Norma Gentilcore (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
