He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Birch of Farmington, NY; his children, Christopher Birch (Amy) of Canandaigua, NY and Jennifer Manley (Brian) of LeRoy, NY; his siblings, Robert Birch (Dot) of Charlotte, NC, Mary Lawthers of Geneva, NY and Janet Krell (Clark Beasley) of Auburn, NY; his sister-in-law Judy Welkley of Wolcott, NY; his grandchildren, Keith Lord, Skye Berry (Tyler), Briannah Birch, Brianna Gilliatt, Kassidy Birch (Benjamin Fingar), Hayleigh Birch and Alexandra Manley; his great grandchildren, Lilliana Berry, Thea Gilliatt and Theodore Gilliatt; his aunt June McFall Pontius of Waterloo, NY; and his nephew Shawn Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, 1529 Mound Rd., Seneca Falls, NY 13148. The family will also be accepting private donations to be distributed to causes near and dear to Jim.
