It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elda D. Slater of Farmington, New York, born in Dresden, New York, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Tones and Mildred Tones (Russell); her husband Donald Slater; her granddaughter Marsha Ellis; and her siblings, Jenny VanKurin, Barbara Peterson, Burton and Howard Tones.

She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Todd (John), Kathy Pearce (Dean), Roger Slater (Carla Simonton) and Connie Slater; and her grandchildren, Susan Alexander, Joan Drew, John Todd Jr., Roger Todd, Theresa Vitale, Ryan and Devin Slater.

Those in attendance are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering.
