She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephraim Garno and Maud Garno; her husband Robert Orvis Sr.; her daughter Suzanne Bachmann; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Barnhardt, Mary Singh and Keith Bachmann.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Orvis "Josephine", Dianne Carcich, Robert Orvis Jr. "Bobby", James Orvis "Jimmy" and Laura Martinez "Dolly". She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
