It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia A Bruhn of Farmingdale, New York, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Parete and Mary Parete (Healy); her brother William Parete; her mother-in-law Eleanor Murphy Bruhn; and her brother-in-law Robert Bruhn (Hector).

She is survived by: her siblings, John, Mary Donald, Christina, Rose and Catherine; her caregiver Pat; her husband J. Michael Bruhn; her children, Judy Valachovic (Tracy), Mike Bruhn (Bridget) and Annie Demosthenes (Jim); her grandchildren, Abby, Kyle, Alyssa, Lexi Valachovic, Georgia, Lizzie Demosthenes, Tripp, Teddy and Wells Bruhn; and her friends, Mary Netter, Pat Loughran and Rose Kelly.

Donations can be made in honor of Patricia to Hudson Valley Hospice or Hudson Valley Hospice Music Therapy, 153 Sawkill Road, Kingston, NY 12401.
