He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schiede and Jean Schiede; and his wife Linda. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Schiede (Mary Margaret) of Massapequa, James Schiede (Lisa) of East Northport, Debora Martin (Joseph) of Hainesport and Gary Schiede (Mary) of Commack; and his grandchildren, Peter, Bobbie Lynn Schiede, Megan, Johnathan Schiede, Maya, Ty, Gavin Martin, Kaitlyn and Liam Schiede. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
