He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diana; his children, George IV (Christine), William (Shirley), Gerard (Gail), Ruth-Anne and Rosemarie; his grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Tina, Sarah, Michael, Paul, Patrick, Cormac, Rachel and Morgan; his siblings, Robert, Beverly, Debbie and Susan; and his parents, George II and Alfreda.
