It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa S. Furrer (Far Rockaway, New York), who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her mother Helen Matthews (Johnson); her grandfather James J. Matthews; her sisters, Margaret Giblin (Matthews) and Winifred H. Matthews (Miccio); her brother-in-law Gregory Satzuk; and her brothers, William J. Matthews, Edward J. Matthews, Frank J. Matthews and Joseph F. Matthew.
She is survived by : her daughter Christine M. Furrer (McCarthy); her son-in-law John J. McCarthy III; her children, Peter M. Ward, Linda A. Ward and Gail V. Ward (Lyman); and her son-in-law Richard W. Lyman. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 13 lucky great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.
